A 2007 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Roesener has proudly cared for pets and families in Northern Chester County for more than 18 years. Now as the new owner of Kennett Square Veterinary Hospital, he’s honored to continue the tradition of compassionate, high-quality care that clients and their pets have trusted for years.

Dr. Roesener looks forward to building lasting relationships with both longtime patients and new friends — providing the same warmth, dedication, and expert care that have always defined the practice.

He answered the phone himself and told me to come now.  There were no vet techs working. He flushed her ear 3 times, and applied medication. She appeared better before we even walked out the door. I have been pleased with the quality of service we (husband and I) have received for our cats here. I have been to vets before that try to swindle-  not the case here. There is no extra charging for unnecessary items and I like the fact that you get an itemized bill.  The staff is flexible and allows me to bring multiple cats in for appts at one time- which is great because it’s less trips I need to make with angry cats who do not want to leave the house. I can call the same day and receive refills for prescriptions for my cats. Also Dr. Barnsley is great at handling cats of all temperaments- whether docile, scared, or hostile- he is able to have a positive visit with them and get all the information to check if they are healthy. We also have had to do a few surgeries with our cats, and I was impressed with how fast KSVH saw our cats each time and how fast they came home. Highly recommend!
